Hello!

I'm Valerie Ogier, I teach English in a school called Collège Jean-Jacques Rousseau in  Tassin, in the suburbs of Lyon. I teach to 6 classes from 11 to 15 years old. But I will participate to the exchange with a group of 4° euro (3rd year in secondary school, they are 13) which means they have chosen to study English 2 more hours a week.

I have already been to Ontario once, it was 19 years ago when I visited the east of Canada so we mainly visited Toronto and Ottawa after a long trip along the St Lawrence river. We (my husband and I) really enjoyed Canada and the Canadian way of life so I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to take part in this project and to work with a Canadian school. This summer I went to Niagara Falls with my family after a trip to NYC. But it was very short and we didn't have time to meet any Canadian.

I have 3 children 2 daughters and a son, they are 18, 15 and 12. I've been an English teacher for 20 years, but times flies... I love teaching but most of all I love experimenting new projects with my pupils.
